Putra Medical Centre’s Paediatric Clinic supports the health and well-being of infants, children and adolescents. Consultations are designed to help families understand a child’s symptoms, development and care needs in a reassuring environment.
When your child may need care
Parents may seek advice for fever, cough, breathing concerns, digestive symptoms, skin problems, feeding difficulties or other changes in a child’s health. The doctor will assess the child and advise whether treatment, monitoring, testing or further review is appropriate.
Seek urgent medical attention if a child has difficulty breathing, is unusually drowsy, has a seizure, shows signs of severe dehydration or appears seriously unwell.
Growth and development
Health reviews may include growth measurements, developmental discussion and guidance relevant to the child’s age. Raise any concerns about feeding, sleep, behaviour, movement, speech or learning during the consultation.
Preparing for the appointment
Bring the child’s identification, health or immunisation record, relevant medical documents and a list of medicines and allergies. Note when symptoms began, any temperature readings and changes in eating, drinking or activity.
Arrange your visit
